Fax machines and VHS tapes: Ontario courts lack technological modernization

    It's easy, they simply adopt the federal court system, they don't have to reinvent the wheel or spend a fortune (But you know, instead they will spend a fortune and blow it). Easy to set up a system whereby for each court file there is a secure website; documents to be filed can be uploaded to it, all parties are notified via an email or text alert, judge or master assigned can access all documents, can print them, can post decisions, etc. All this filing of bound documents, cirlox, etc. belongs in pre-2000.
